Hampton Inn Lafayette

Convenient to Purdue and I-65. Clean comfortable rooms and nice pool. Be aware they have just filled in the hot tub with cement so it's no longer available. If I had known that I would have stayed at my usual hotel, the double tree next door. Good breakfast.

Stayed for 1 night while visiting Lafayette to judge a competition. Checked in around 6:30pm and a very kind young man was quick and helpful with answers. He offered a bag with 2 bottles of water as a Hilton Honors member. That was a really nice touch! Room was clean and comfy - with a chaise lounge and a side table to pull over for a dinner table. Then I went to bed. OUCH! I could feel every coil. Since I was alone and with a King bed, I moved to the other side and same thing. I laid longways, diagonally, etc.......and finally I just crashed. I woke up with a major pain in my back and had to Tylenol to ease the pain. I was so surprised to have the issue -and mentioned it on my way out of the hotel to the front desk. They apologized but in my haste, I didn't notice that they didn't even ask what room I was in. I have been to over 40 diff Hampton hotels in the past 10 years and I've never had an issue with their mattresses. I normally LOVE them. I even contacted Hampton to find out where they got their mattresses so I could order one for my home! :). It might be time to update those beds! The mattress was why the loss of a star. BUT - the young man behind the counter was so sweet - and wanted to make sure he was mentioned. stayed 1/26/24

All 5 stars… 6 Dec 2025 was our 5th stay in recent years… very clean and comfortable. Superb service. Our favorite hotel in Indiana.

Nice clean room and plenty of seating in the lobby. Whirlpool was nice and hot and service was great. Breakfast could be improved with real eggs, some cheese and a new toaster. Beds we're comfortable. Hard to charge anything in that room...hardly any juice in the outlets. Also ...more ventilation in the bathroom.

I especially like this hotel because it has a guest laundry and gym facilities. The room was comfortable enough. The housekeeping lady needs a little more training, however, because it's standard that when the sign is outside the door, that means not to barge into persons' rooms when they are trying to sleep. She can hardly speak English, but her excuse was basically that she did not expect someone to be in the room. Therefore, that shows a breakdown in communication between staff. The breakfast is really great on some mornings, including fruit eggs, sausages etc... on other mornings, it's sparse and really hit and miss, so I guess it all depends on who is in the kitchen at the time.

About 5.5 mi from Purdue Campus. Budget stay with free breakfast for parents visiting this location. Clean and well maintained with great staff. Enjoyed the stay. Am not trying to be critical but there are couple of areas of improvement in my opinion - Too soft chairs in the cafeteria area, thin walls as you can hear alarm vibrating in another room through the walls that will wake you up for sure and low pressure through the shower heads will make you stay longer in the bathroom without active ventilation.

The staff was excellent. Everyone was professional, yet very friendly. The website doesn't do the breakfast menu justice. It had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. It also had waffles with a couple of batters to choose. There also was hot oatmeal. The waffles and oatmeal had several toppings and additions. There were pastries, fruit, fruit juices, cereal, and several juice options. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The same for thr bathroom - the shower was very nice - and could be made quite hot, if wanted. The bed was comfortably firm. However, the springs could be distinctly heard when moving about (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars).

Had a great stay at this Hotel. Breakfast was really good and hotel is in great shape. Check in was super fast which I appreciate. Room 253 was a little noisy as there is some equipment outside. Room was spacious and well equipped.

Nice and clean rooms, as well as lobby and elevator. Staff was super nice and helpful. Many restaurants within walking distance. It’s in a busy area but noise wasn’t a problem. Overall great hotel, even if your only staying for a short trip.

Very clean hotel! Comfy bed! Great staff at the front desk! Made us feel welcome and treated us like a Hilton member should be treated! Our room on the 2nd floor was quiet, had everything we needed in our room! Location has so many places to eat, walking distance! Indoor Pool is beautiful , fitness room open 24 hours along with laundry …..5 star hotel
